What is a pet emergency?

Some examples of pet emergencies include:

difficulty breathing, sudden collapse, ingestion of a foreign substance or object, difficult birth, persistent vomiting or diarrhea, trauma from a fight, car, or other heavy object, bleeding that isn’t stopping or laceration, seizures, difficulty urinating, difficulty standing or inability to use limbs.

If your pet is experiencing an emergency outside of our regular business hours, please contact one of the emergency facilities listed below.

If your pet experiences an emergency during our regular operating hours please contact our hospital. We do not accept walk-ins and cannot accept all emergencies a pet may experience.
