Dr. Kathleen McFarlin:Dr. McFarlin graduated from the University of California Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. After working for one year at East Ventura Animal Hospital she came to White's in 1996. In 2002 Dr. McFarlin and Dr. Casaus purchased White's Pet Hospital. In 2003 they oversaw its expansion and renovation. Dr. McFarlin lives with her husband Bob and daughter Lindsay. In her free time she cares for her two dogs, two cats, and her horse. She also enjoys hiking, camping, volunteering at school and gardening.
Dr. Daniel Casaus:
Dr. Casaus graduated from Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. For the next three years he worked at a surgical referral clinic in Los Angeles. In 1992 he came to Santa Barbara and has been at White's Pet Hospital ever since. In 2002 he and Dr. McFarlin purchased the practice, then expanded and renovated it in 2003. In his free time he enjoys camping, cooking and spending time with his wife and her two children.
Dr. Verona Douglas:
Dr. Verona Douglas graduated in 1989 from Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She then completed a one year internship at the West Los Angeles Veterinary Medical Group. In 2001 she received her credentials as a certified Veterinary Accupuncturist. Some of her outside interest include weight training, ballet, roller blading and hiking. She has been an associate veterinarian at White's Pet Hospital since 2003.

Hospital welcomed Dr. Kelly Doria to our practice in August of 2010. Dr. Doria graduated from UC Davis with honors in 1994. Dr. Doria is joining White's
Pet
Hospital after operating a very successful full service, state of the art mobile veterinary clinic in
South Lake Tahoe for seven years. Prior to that she was Senior Veterinary Associate at Alpine Animal Hospital where she worked for eight years. "Deciphering a problem is like being a detective, since animals can't talk and many illnesses present with a similar history" says Kelly. Sending home a healthy pet with a happy client is her greatest joy in her work.
